Advisory Services
Social media and online community initiatives are very new to many companies and they have a different growth dynamic than many other operational disciplines – as well as the need for cross-functional collaboration and alignment. For companies, participating in the social web often means changing how they think about planning, investment, and resources which can be difficult to do without some external perspective and expertise.
The Community Roundtable offers advisory services to companies looking for input and advice as they plan for and manage their social media and community initiatives. We can help with:
- Providing our feedback on strategies, priorities and plans based on our own experience managing online communities and our experience working with a wide variety of companies on their social media and community initiatives. See more about our experience here.
- Providing education and training on our management framework – The Community Maturity Model – to your extended team to foster a common structure for planning and management.
- Defining realistic goals and plans by facilitating cross-functional alignment on challenges and opportunities.
- Providing experienced perspective to decision-makers and stakeholders.
We offer both a standard workshop package and custom advisory services depending on your needs.
Our workshop package includes:
- Advisory Services. These sessions are design to ensure that the workshop is as effective as possible both in terms of setting expectations but also in incorporating its outcomes into planning and execution.
- Kick-Off & Introduction Call – Two hours
- Workshop Preparation Call – One hour
- Check-up Calls Post-Workshop – 2 one-hour calls
- Workshop – 2 Days. Our workshop is structured to combine presentation and discussion with individual and group exercises – all designed to articulate the current and desired competencies that will lead to a successful community initiative. Articulating what is a realistic vision – versus an ideal one – is the goal of this workshop and critical to long-term success.
- Two (2) annual memberships in TheCR Network.
