The Community Roundtable is committed to building long-lasting relationships based on trust. Consequently. protecting your privacy is important to us. As such, we hope that the following information will help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal and business information you provide to us as part of your subscription agreement to our information service.

What personally identifiable information does The Community Roundtable gather?
In order to access our Content, Subscribers and business tools, we require certain personal and business information about you and your Company when you subscribe to The Community Roundtable such as name, title, city, state, zip code, phone number and email address or screen name as well as billing address, type of computer and credit card number (collectively, “Personal Information”), Company name, industry, office location, job title, product and service offering and customer/market focus (collectively, “Business Information”). We use this Personal and Business Information to optimize our ability to serve you, connect you with other professionals and the information you need to make better decisions and to analyze, understand and respond to your changing wants and needs.

When you participate in any of our forms of exchange including conference calls, face-to-face meetings or electronic exchanges, we ask for your name and the name of the company you represent. In the case of a conference call, we will also ask for your phone number and your location. When we edit the transcript of the call or face-to-face event for distribution to our members, your Personal and Business information will appear in the report along with ‘key lessons learned’ from the information you exchange with other subscribers to our information service.

All other participants will be referenced as “Community Roundtable Members” to maintain anonymity. Where a participant’s name or company name has been alluded to or expressly referenced in the body of the transcript/report, the document will be edited to hide the participant’s identity. Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of any information that you voluntarily provide to us. If you find any errors in this information, please contact us and we will correct them.

Does The Community Roundtable share the personal or professional information it receives?
The Personal Information you provide will be kept confidential and used to support your relationship with The Community Roundtable. Except as discussed in this policy, we will not sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to any outside parties.

We may, however, provide our corporate sponsors with your name, title, company, address, phone number and e-mail address. Corporate members are industry-leading companies who supply products and services to your industry. Corporate sponsors are committed to our policy of maintaining an environment free of commercial pressure. We may share personally identifiable information with law enforcement or other entities as required by law or as we reasonably determine to be necessary to protect our rights or the rights of others, to prevent harm to persons or property, to fight fraud, or to enforce our web site terms of use.

In the event of a merger, consolidation, or sale or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets or business of The Community Roundtable (a “Successor”), one of the assets which would generally be transferred is the personal information we collect from our members. However, the use of this information by any Successor would still be governed by the terms of this privacy policy, as amended from time to time, including any amendment after such a transaction.

For clarification purposes, The Community Roundtable may use and/or disclose to any party any and all Content and Dialogues that are not Personal Information as defined in The Community Roundtable’s Subscription Agreement — Terms and Conditions of Use. You can change your preferred method of communication with us (e.g. E-mail, mail) at any time.

Does our software use “Cookies”?
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. We use cookies to enhance one-to-one customer relationships by recognizing you as a returning member, and allow you to instantly access the “members only” community.
